DPDB TUENSANG MEETING HELD
District Planning and Development Board Meeting was held at DC Office’s Conference Hall Tuensang on 14th of January 2019. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB Tuensang, L. Jamithung Lotha. The meeting was attended by almost all the esteemed members of the forum.
The meeting started with the review of the previously adopted agendas and its follow up updates. SDO (C) Longkhim, Shelly Katiry enlightened the forum members regarding the project Low Cost Multipurpose Indoor Stadium at Longkhim HQ which will be constructed with the initiatives of the concern citizens of Longkhim Town on free will contribution. He also requested the members to contribute through “raffle draw” so that the project could be materialized.
ADC Tuensang, M. Chaitanya Prasad, IAS also encouraged all the members to work together as team and carry the district forward through development.
Work distribution for the upcoming Republic Day was also planned and work responsibilities were distributed on Departmental lines.
The monthly PPT display of work activities was initiated by the Department of Food and Civil Supplies, where the Additional Director of the Department reported the Departmental activities with proper statistics.

MEETING FOR REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION AT MON
Meeting for Republic Day celebration 2019 was held on 14th January 2019 at DC Office Conference Hall, Mon.
During the meeting, work distribution was done different departments were assigned duties for the successful conduct of the Republic Day celebration at Mon HQ. The Board also rquested the parade contingents to start their practice from 21st January 2019 onwards at local ground Mon.
Earlier the meeting was chaired by Kumar Ramnikant IAS, ADC Mon. The meeting was attended by DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS, District Administrations and Head of Offices under Mon HQ.

GOVERNOR EXTENDS SUKRUNYE GREETINGS
Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya has extended greetings to the Chakhesang community on the occasion of Sukrunye festival 2019. Stating that Sukrunye was one of the most significant festivals of the Chakhesangs, Governor Acharya observed that such festivals give the chance to sanctify and purify oneself. He expressed confidence that the festival would help to purify one’s heart and soul in the truest form.
Governor Acharya also stated that the festival should be a source for building unity and called upon all to come together and make the atmosphere conducive in towns and villages for peaceful co-existence and all round development in the State.
‘May the festival of Sukrunye bring peace, unity and prosperity to the Chakhesangs in particular and Nagas in general’ the Governor said.

DC MOKOKCHUNG INFORMS ON REPUBLIC DAY
Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal has informed all the government servants posted within Mokokchung town that the 26th January Republic Day function 2019 will commence at the usual time of 8:40 AM at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
Therefore all the government servants have been directed to attend the function without fail. Further, all the District Head of Offices are directed to take the attendance of their respective staff and submit to the office of the Deputy Commissioner for onward submission to the Government for necessary action.
Deputy Commissioner also informed all the village council members and GBs Union of Ungma, Mokokchung, Chuchuyimpang and Khensa villages, the GBs of Mokokchung town, functionaries of the 18 wards and all the public of Mokokchung town to make it convenient to attend the function.

NSLSA AND WDLSA TO CONDUCT MEGA LEGAL SERVICES CAMP
Nagaland State Services Authority and Wokha District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with the District Administration, Government departments, stakeholders & NGOs will be organizing a Mega Legal Services Camp on 19th January 2019 at local ground, Wokha.
The purpose of the camp is to sensitize the public on free Legal Aid and particularly to the marginalize section of the society. The public will also have the opportunity to interact with several government departments including banks and get oriented with the various welfare programs/schemes of the government.
The Legal Services Authority booths will offer legal services such as filling of forms, drafting affidavit etc. The volunteers at various booths will assist the senior citizens, differently –abled persons and daily wage earners to register for various governmental sponsored benefits and schemes.
In this regard, all concern have been requested to bring relevant documents to avail the same. (Birth certificates, Resident certificates, Bank passbook, ID card, link with bank account etc.).

MEDZIPHEMA DEPARTMENTAL CO-ORDINATION MEETING
Medziphema Departmental co-ordination meeting consisting of all Head of Offices took place at the ADC Office, Medziphema on 14th January 2019 where EAC, Sentilong Ozukum chaired the meeting. The main aim of this co-ordination meeting was to chalk out the programme for the upcoming 70th Republic Day celebration on 26th January. The chairman allocated various duties to all the departments and appealed to all the government employees both central and state to co-ordinate and focus on joint effort for the success of the programme. He also added compulsory attendance will be taken for all the government employees. The meeting was attended by all the head of offices and both government and private institutions.

CEO NOTIFIES ON TRAINING FOR NODAL OFFICERS
Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha, IAS in a notice has informed that the training programme for Nodal Officers of AHoDs and HoDs in connection with formation and functioning of Voters Awareness Forum will be held on 15th January 2019 at Hotel Japfu at 2 PM. The training programme shall be led by the two State Level Master Trainers.
The duly trained Nodal Officers shall take up with the respective AHoDs and HoDs and launch the respective Voter Awareness Forum on 16th January 2019 as prescribed by the Election
Commission of India.
All have been requested to participate in the programme positively.
